Follow these simple steps to get started and claim your Plus role.
Install Discord
1. Visit discord.com/download on your computer.
2. Choose Windows, Mac, or Linux and download the installer.
3. Open the installer and follow the prompts to finish setup.
Create your account
Open Discord and tap Register. Enter your email, choose a username, and set a password.
Verify your email via the link Discord sends you. Then you’re ready to connect.
Connect Discord above
Click the Connect now button at the top of this page. Discord will ask you to authorise Your Money Mate Bot — approve it to continue.
We only read your Discord username and email — nothing else.
Claim your Plus role
We match your Discord email to your Money Mate Plus subscription and drop you into the server with the Plus role — no extra steps.
If you cancel or downgrade later, your role updates automatically to match.
Heads up: you’ll get a Discord DM
Right after you connect, Discord will send you a direct message letting you know you’ve authorised Your Money Mate Bot to add you to the Your Money Mate Community. This is perfectly normal — it’s Discord’s way of confirming what you just approved. You can safely close the DM and carry on.

FAQ
Do I need a Money Mate Plus membership?
Yes. The Plus role is only assigned if you have an active Plus membership on Money Mate. Free members get the Free role instead.
Does my Discord email have to match my Money Mate email?
No. We match your Discord account to your Money Mate membership automatically in the background, so you don't need to do anything extra. Once connected, your role stays in sync even if your emails are different.
What happens if I cancel or downgrade?
Your Plus role is removed automatically and you're moved to the Free role. Re-subscribe and the Plus role comes back on its own.
Is Discord free?
Yes. Discord is free to download and use — you only pay for your Money Mate Plus membership.
Troubleshooting
If connecting or your Plus role isn't working, try these steps.
1. Make sure you're signed into Discord. Open discord.com or the Discord app and log in first, then come back and click Connect.
2. Check your Money Mate membership is active. Log into Money Mate and confirm your Plus subscription hasn't lapsed or been paused.
3. Verify your Discord email. Discord blocks some server features until your email is verified. Check your inbox and spam folder for the verification link.
4. Try again after a minute. Fully close the Discord app and reopen it, then click Connect once more. Role changes usually appear within a few seconds.
5. Still stuck? Contact support via the Money Mate website and we'll grant your Plus role manually.
